The do's and don'ts
1. Check whether every component is proper for use before assembling the releasing overshot.
2. Apply screw compound to the joint and grease the occlusal surface between slips and inner side of cylinder.
3. Calculate the kelly-in of fish top, mill shoe and fishing. The general drilling assembly consists of overshot, safety joint, bumper sub and driller.
